Vintage
The 2018 harvest progressed under ideal cool and dry conditions. Rainfall through the growing season was average with a dry summer, allowing fruit to attain optimal characters.
Vineyards
Sourced from selected Chardonnay vineyards located in the premium growing area of Padthaway.
Winemaking
The wine was picked very early morning and pressed off skins immediately, retaining the purity of the fruit. The juice was cold settled and fermented cool with high quality French oak. The wine was aged on lees for 6 months to gain complexity and texture.
